TECH TIP: Retrieving Deleted Files

DID YOU KNOW? After you’ve chosen to delete a file by moving it to the recycle bin, you can always recover your file within 60 days of moving it there.

  1. First, open up the Recycle Bin by clicking the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop or by using the search bar near the bottom left of your desktop to search for ‘Recycle Bin’.
  2. After opening the bin, find the file you want to retrieve
  3. Right click on the file name and select ‘restore.’
  4. Now your file is back to where it was before you deleted it!
