During the week of June 16-21, 2025, when IOCP and Resale Select are closed, our neighboring food shelves will be available to assist. Please call these agencies several days in advance. They are appointment-based and reaching out ahead of your visit will improve your experience. 

 

Food

Fare for All  

  • Fare for All will be at several locations throughout the week to sell groceries at a great discount.

Hunger Solutions  

  • Supports Minnesota’s food shelves and offers their clients resources to put food on the table today.

Northpoint Health and Wellness Fresh Food Fridays

  • Free produce & community resources

RENT / HOUSING SUPPORT

***If you are not able to pay your rent or utility bill, it is important to talk to your landlord or utility company right away and request a payment plan***

 

Shelter 

Shelter Hotline (for single adults and/or families): Call 612-204-8200, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Any calls made outside these hours will be directed to United Way 2-1-1.

Find Emergency Shelter – If you’re fleeing domestic violence, have been sexually assaulted or exploited, and/or trafficked, call 866-223-1111 or text 612-399-9995 to be connected to the closest available domestic violence shelter. Advocates at Day One Services are available 24/7.

MENTAL HEALTH 

For help when you or someone close to you is experiencing a mental health emergency:  

  • Call 911  
  • Call your primary medical insurance provider for information on mental health services
  • Call COPE Crisis Services at 612-596-1223 for adults and children  
    • Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year  
    • Come to your home, school or other public place  
    • Calm the situation and help you to decide what to do next  
    • Offer other types of help depending on your situation  
  • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: call or text 988.

CAP Hennepin Vehicle Repair: Community Action Partnership of Hennepin County’s (CAP-HC’s) Vehicle Repair Assistance Program can help you repair your car

The Lift Garage: Affordable, non-profit auto repair service for Minnesotans of limited means. Low cost car repair to brakes, tires, suspension and steering, starting and charging systems, fuel systems, exhaust systems, and heating and cooling systems (not air conditioning)
