Interfaith Outreach works side-by-side with families in times of need. Our services include food, case management, emergency financial assistance, employment services and child care resources. If you or someone you know needs support please reach out.

Food Shelf Closure

The food shelf is being transformed into a SuperShelf! In order to make this transformation we will need to close the Food Shelf for 2 weeks.

The Food Shelf will be closed Monday September 6 through Friday September 17.

During this time, we will offer prepacked bags of emergency food. Interfaith clients may use one of our partner food shelves for shopping visits during these two weeks:

The Interfaith food shelf will reopen on Monday September 20 – visit iocp.org/foodvisit to make an appointment. Please call 763-489-7530 or email pfelker@iocp.org if you have any questions or concerns.

New to Interfaith Outreach? Welcome.

If you live in Hamel, Long Lake, Medina, Minnetonka Beach, Orono, Plymouth west of 494 or Wayzata and have 1) never accessed Interfaith services or 2) haven’t seen us in over one year, please email us at clientintake@iocp.org or call us at 763-489-7500 to get started.

We will schedule an initial phone conversation with staff and will ask to see (or see a picture of) your picture identification (ID), and utility bill (heat, electric, etc.) dated within the last 30 days to confirm your address and we will ask you to sign a few forms. That can be done by email or by visiting us during front desk hours.

To shop in-building, you must make an appointment.

Monday 1-6 p.m. (in building, appointment needed)
Wednesday 9 a.m.-noon (in building, appointment needed)
1-4 p.m. (in building, appointment needed)
4-6 p.m. (drive-up, NO appointment needed)
Friday 9 a.m.-noon (in building, appointment required)

Front Desk Hours
*Staff and volunteers will be at the front desk to connect briefly (up to 15 minutes). A maximum of 6 guests can be in the lobby at one time, and a health screening is required. Learn more about what we offer during these hours.
