Reminder: Our IOCP Holiday Gift Programs have ended

bright ornamental lights (purple in foreground and orange/green in background)Over the last few years, we have been focused on meeting basic needs and stabilizing lives. As a result of that work, we announced in Fall 2023 the end of our holiday gift program (for Christmas, Hanukkah, and Eid). Instead, we are adding to and improving upon our current services, such as

  • Welcoming new clients: more options and quicker turn-around for new appointments
  • Access: many options to work with us in person, by phone or virtually from anywhere
  • Food: expanded food shelf hours, new drop-in hours and expanded home delivery
  • Clothes: more accessible free clothing at Resale Select
  • Housing: new Housing Resource Navigation service helps people understand and access housing resources
  • Jobs: expanded Employment Services offerings and extended computer lab hours
  • Mental health support: a variety of provider partners to make connecting with support easy
  • Financial assistance: additional staff in our financial assistance team to decrease wait times and improve responsiveness is underway

IOCP is continually learning, adjusting, and working to improve our services, and the list above are just examples. The improvements continue as we live out our mission: To strengthen the community by meeting basic needs and equipping individuals and families for on-going stability.
