IOCP Around Town: August-September

Here are some fun ways you can make the most of your free-time while supporting IOCP and our community. Be sure to stop by and say, “Hello!” at any of these events.

• Fundraiser – Tuesday, Aug. 19 @ 4-8 p.m.
  Rock Elm Tavern, Plymouth
  Join us at Rock Elm for an evening of fun where 10% of sales will be donated to Interfaith Outreach. There will be face painting, games, prizes, and more.
• Plymouth Covenant Church Food Drive – Aug. 23-24
  Cub Foods, Plymouth (Vicksburg Lane)
  Support the church’s food drive for IOCP’s food shelf by shopping our most-needed items at the store.
• James J. Hill Days – Sept. 6-7
  Lake Street in Downtown Wayzata
  IOCP and its Resale Select store will be set up in the annual Street Market. Check us out to learn more about our work or shop Resale’s latest treasures. Proceeds from your purchases benefit our programs – and our community.
• Plymouth Farmer’s Market – Sept. 10
  Parkers Lake Playfield
  Check out the variety of vendors who sell fresh, locally grown produce, and prepared food – and stop by the IOCP booth to learn about volunteer opportunities or bring a donation for our food shelf.
