Interfaith Outreach continues to respond to emergency needs while addressing the root causes of poverty. As part of our continuous improvement process, Interfaith recently re-organized its case management services into smaller, more specialized teams.
Areas of focus include:
- Client welcoming
- Emergency financial assistance
- Short- and long-term case management
- Early childhood development
- Housing
Our Employment Services team spent the last year immersed in a process called Human Centered Design (HCD). This process provided a structure for aligning our services with the needs of our client community, while also being informed by stakeholder experiences, research and local trends.
Employment Services now has four areas of focus:
- Easy access to computer skill-building and job search assistance
- 1:1 employment coaching for active job seekers
- Access to employment training
- Job retention support
The team is continuing to grow employer partnerships, create networking opportunities, build on-ramps to living wage jobs through training, and provide virtual workshops to decrease isolation and increase support.
Your support helps us meet emergency needs and address the root causes. We could not do this without your generosity.
Peace,
Kevin Ward
