Saturday, Nov. 13, 7-9 p.m.
Interfaith Outreach parking lot
1605 County Road 101 N, Plymouth
(Park at Oakwood Elementary across the street)
The 2021 Sleep Out is just around the corner and we invite you to our youth and community gathering. To better ensure everyone’s health and safety, we will be holding this event outdoors in our parking lot — dress warmly!
The Sleep Out is a 26-year tradition that celebrates and taps into the transformative power of collective compassion. Donations to this campaign help deliver individualized services that help nearly 2,000 local families at risk of homelessness stabilize and strengthen in times of crisis.
Sleep out (and sleep in) activities can happen anytime (for more details and how-tos click here), but we encourage your participation on Saturday, Nov. 13 for the official kickoff – an evening of fun and reflection!
This year, we will focus on issues of housing and homelessness, food instability and the critical need for stable, living wage employment.
7-7:30 p.m. Experience Activity Stations throughout the parking lot:
- Foundation Station: Pick up food tickets, win prizes and then take a quick tour of our new SuperShelf.
- Firepit Station: Roast a marshmallow or two for some s’mores.
- Food Station: Grab dinner from the Rock Elm food truck or Pizza Karma.
- Fellowship Station: Mingle with friends and listen to music from DJ Colin.
7:30 p.m. Hear a short program from Interfaith’s Executive Director, Kevin Ward, and leadership team. View our Sleep Out kickoff video – and celebrate coming together as a community for this common purpose.
8-9 p.m. Mix and mingle s’more, then depart for your own sleep out/in with family and friends.
We look forward to seeing you on Nov. 13! Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
