NON-CASH DONATIONS

Regular donation hours are two days a week: Fridays and Mondays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. We encourage you to call ahead to make sure the donation door is open prior to stopping by: 763-489-7500. We’ve been needing to shut down unexpectedly due to space constraints and staffing challenges from time to time. Thank you for your patience as we navigate effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on our volunteer and staff capacity.


 

FOOD SHELF

Most needed donations: Healthy snacks including fruit squeeze pouches, cashews, almonds, rice cakes, pretzels, popcorn, fruit cups, granola bars, turkey jerky, cheese sticks, goldfish and juice boxes.

— Your food shelf donations meet basic needs in a dignified way. Food, toiletries and household products are needed year-round to help our neighbors. Donate items that your family enjoys, neighbors from varying cultures prefer, or special foods for the holidays. Learn more. 

RESALE SELECT

(Year-round) — Donate quality items from your closet and home. When you donate to Resale Select, everyone wins, because all proceeds support Interfaith Outreach and the families we serve. Learn more.

Your extra effort goes a long way:

  • Clean your items before donating. This ensures your donation can be put to good use right away!
  • Hand-select your best items for us! This saves valuable resources in the sorting process.
  • Quality of donations is more critical than quantity when donating clothing and household goods.

birthday shelf

(Year-round) — Help bring joy to a child on their birthday! Donate gifts valued around $15-20 or extra celebration items like plates and napkins for children turning ages 1-18. Learn more. Most Needed Donations: Cake mix, frosting, and new books for high schoolers.

BABY LAYETTES

(Year-round) — Provide support and encouragement to new parents by donating a basket of baby necessities. Learn more.

(July-August) — Help ensure all kids have the tools they need to succeed in school by donating school supplies and clothing. Learn more.

holiday gift program

(October) — Bring holiday joy to a local family by providing gift cards! Learn more.

HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE

(November-December) — It’s often the little things, like traditional foods, that make our holidays feel special but have to go when budgets are tight. You can help families celebrate by donating specific items to the food shelf a few weeks before Thanksgiving, Chanukah and Christmas. Learn more. 

WINTER COATS

(September-October) — Donations of new or gently used (clean, good condition) winter coats are needed for the annual Winter Coat Program. Each year Interfaith Outreach provides free winter coats to those who need them — adults, children and seniors — free of charge. The program relies solely on the generosity of our community. Over 800 coats needed!
