SLEEP OUT COMMUNITY CHALLENGE

This year’s Sleep Out includes a “community challenge” to reach a goal of 526 Sleep Out participants.

WHY 526?

Because last year alone, Interfaith made 526 housing-related financial assists to prevent local individuals and families from experiencing eviction or homelessness.

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT WITH STICKERS AND SIGNS

Pick up a Sleep Out sign as early as Nov. 1 and place your sign by Nov. 7 to help spread the word before Sleep Out officially begins. Place them in your yard, on your porch – wherever you plan to hold your sleep out!

Every community member who picks up a Sleep Out sign will also get a Sleep Out 2022 sticker to show their commitment to raising awareness around housing insecurity in our community. Stick it on your water bottle, laptop or folder to start the conversation about the importance of stable, affordable housing in our community.

SHARE IT ON SOCIAL

Give yourself a shout out on social media: use these Facebook or Instagram graphics along with the caption, “I am participating in Interfaith’s 2022 Sleep Out to raise awareness of eviction and homelessness prevent in our community.” and the hashtag #sleepout22.

DONATE FUNDS

You can also make a direct impact by donating to Interfaith’s Sleep Out – and helping us achieve our mission: To strengthen our community by meeting basic needs and equipping individuals and families for ongoing stability. You can also use our community challenge fundraising landing page to raise funds.

“I really made a connection with the experience, to the point where it felt like it was something I had to do every year to remind myself of what it’s like and what I fight for internally to better the community.”
