Normal donation hours are Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Donations can be dropped off at the east side of our building at
1605 County Road 101 N Plymouth, MN 55447

If you have a large donation (e.g. a truckload or multiple carloads) for the food shelf or Resale Select, please fill out this form.

We occasionally need to close the donation door unexpectedly due to space constraints, so please check our calendar, or call ahead prior to stopping by: 763-489-7549.

Donate Clothing and Household Goods to Resale Select

Your new and like-new goods are deeply appreciated. Your donations help the Resale Select store sell top-quality items.

MOST NEEDED ITEMS

• Underwear and Bras, Sports Bras, and Socks (all sizes) new for clients:
  • Children’s Socks & Underwear (all sizes)
  • Men’s Underwear (S, M, L)
  • Women’s Underwear (XS, S, M, L)
  • Women’s Socks (all sizes)
  • Women’s Bras (XS, S, M)
  • NOTE: Bring these specific donations into the store during regular store hours, and give them to a cashier. (Please continue to use the donation door for all other donations.)
• Toddler-size Clothing – new or like new for clients
• Children’s Shoes and Jackets – all sizes (toddler – youth), transitional styles for spring 
• Men’s Clothing – all sizes, including big and tall: casual wear, active wear, jeans, and shoes

These items are not accepted

• Garage sale or estate sale leftovers
• Used baby equipment/baby furniture
• Computer monitors, printers, fax or copy machines
• TVs, Microwaves, or Exercise Machines

prepare your donation

• Clean your items before donating. This ensures your donation can be put to good use right away!
• Hand select your best items for us! This saves valuable resources in the sorting process.
• Quality of donations is more critical than quantity when donating clothing and household goods.
• Label any higher end or designer items as either “authentic” or “replica.” We sell both and want to be sure we price them appropriately.
• Pre-sort your donations by separating clothing from household items.
• Box or bag (sturdy materials, please) items for transport. Please do not use plastic totes or lawn bags.
• Fold all apparel neatly or lay flat into a box or sturdy bag.
• Include all pieces/parts of an item; toys must meet current safety standards.
• Request preapproval for all furniture (including patio furniture) and large donations.
  • Send a photo and detailed description to our team resaleselect@iocp.org. Once we approve the donation, you can stop by to donate the item.
